and kids out there who think they know cookies, start your ovens!
WearEver® is searching for the most unique, scrumptious, one-of-a-kind
cookie recipes in the Second Annual WearEver® AirBake®
Extreme Cookie Challenge. Whether you prefer the juxtaposition
of sweet and salty flavors or take the 'everything-but-the-kitchen-sink'
approach, this contest is for you!
Teams
of one parent and one child (between the ages of 5 to 15), are
invited to submit their most creative cookie recipes through January
7, 2008. Entries will be judged on a variety of criteria, including
taste, originality, appearance and appeal. Five finalists will
be selected to compete in a national "Cookie-Off" in
March 2008 in New York City, hosted by Noah Gray-Cabey, who plays
Micah Sanders on Heroes, where they will present their cookie
creations for a chance to win the grand prize of a $10,000 US
Savings Bond and be named the National Cookie Champions. Four
runners-up will each receive a $1,000 savings bond.
"It
will be hard to replace our last champion, Chips & Dips, where
the potato chip and pretzel cookie ruled, but we are looking forward
to seeing what parents and their children will come up with next,"

At
the event, finalists will bake their cookie creations using AirBake®,

chance of burning their cookies!
